Peer Review Process
All articles submitted to the CCGECON Journal are subject to evaluation by national and international academic peers, experts in the subject matter, under the double-blind peer-review modality, in which the anonymity of both authors and reviewers is preserved. Prior to evaluation by referees, articles are subjected to plagiarism analysis using the Urkund tool, with 5% being the maximum allowed for similarities with other sources.
Phases of the peer review process
Phase 1. The articles received by CCGECON are reviewed by the editor, who will perform an initial evaluation to verify that they comply with the journal's policies and guidelines for authors; the articles that comply are reviewed by the editorial committee to evaluate the quality of the content and relevance of the work according to the subject matter of the journal.
Phase 2. The article is sent to the peer reviewers, the possible conclusions of the evaluation by the referees are only three: to publish the article without modifications, to publish the article with modifications or not to publish the article. The referees have a period of 30 working days to carry out the first review of each article; 20 working days for the second review (after the authors' arrangements) and 10 working days for the rest of the reviews. Authors have 20 working days to make their corrections and send the article to the CCGECON Journal.
Phase 3. The Editorial Committee makes the decision whether or not to publish the articles, based on the results of the evaluations made by the assigned referees. In case of contradictions in the evaluations regarding the publication of an article, the Editorial Committee will send the article to a third referee and will choose the two evaluations that have the same concept regarding the publication of the article.
In each call for papers, the author of the correspondence must suggest at least four possible evaluators external to his/her institution, who must meet the following conditions:
- Have a master's degree.
- Be specialists in the specific topic of the article submitted.
- Have at least one publication in the last three years.
Potential referees may belong to a university or institution, public or private; their full name, highest academic degree, institutional affiliation and e-mail address must be provided. These four potential reviewers will be analyzed by the Editorial Committee in order to expand the database of CCGECON Journal referees.
The CCGECON Editorial Committee reserves the right to print, reproduce all or part of the article, as well as the right to accept or reject it. Likewise, it reserves the right to make any editorial modification it deems convenient; in this case, the author will receive written recommendations from the evaluators. If accepted, the author must submit the article with the suggested adjustments within the dates established by the journal to guarantee its publication within the scheduled issue.
Frequency of publication
It is an electronic publication published quarterly.
Open access policy
CCGECON provides immediate open access to its content, based on the principle that providing the public with free access to research helps to increase the global exchange of knowledge.
Self-archiving conditions: Authors are allowed to reuse published works, i.e., the post-print (or the final version after peer review or the publisher's PDF version) can be archived for non-commercial purposes, including deposit in institutional repositories, thematic repositories or personal web pages.
Archive
This journal uses the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archive among participating libraries, allowing these libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for preservation and restoration purposes.
Publication ethics
Submitting an article means that it has not been previously published, that it is not being considered for publication in any other medium or language, and that it is being submitted with the knowledge of all authors. Failure to do so violates CCGECON's ethics policies.
Anti-Plagiarism Policy
The authors of the texts are entirely responsible for the content of their research, as well as for ensuring that it is original and unpublished. As a policy for the prevention of plagiarism, CCGECON reserves the right to review, through the use of specialized anti-plagiarism software, all articles submitted for publication, using the usual criteria for detecting such practices. If plagiarism is detected, the article will be discarded for publication.
Conflict of interest
Editors agree not to use content from articles submitted for publication in their research.
Changes in authorship
Refers to the addition, removal or rearrangement of the order of authorship. Before the article is published, the corresponding author may request the Editor to add, remove or modify the order of the authors. He/she must indicate the reason for the modification and send a written communication signed by all authors certifying that all agree with the modification. In case of addition or removal, the written communication must include the confirmation by the author(s). Once the article is published, no addition, removal or modification in the order of the authors will be accepted.
Declaration of ethics and good practices
The Editorial Board of CCGECON is committed to high standards of ethics and good practices in the dissemination and transfer of knowledge, to ensure rigor and scientific quality. CCGECON is committed to ensuring the quality of the material it publishes, informing about the objectives and standards of the journal. The editor's decisions to accept or reject a paper for publication are based solely on the relevance of the work, its originality and the pertinence of the study in relation to the editorial line of the journal.
The journal includes a description of the processes followed in the peer review of each paper received. It has a manuscript submission manual for authors in which this information is presented and regularly updated. The right of authors to appeal editorial decisions is recognized.
The editor will not modify its decision on acceptance of submissions, unless irregularities or extraordinary situations are detected. Any change in the members of the editorial committee will not affect the decisions already taken, except in exceptional cases where serious circumstances arise.
Relations with reviewers

CCGECON guarantees that the material submitted for publication will be considered as reserved and confidential while it is being evaluated (double blind).
Complaints

In any case, if the interested parties are unable to satisfy their complaints, it is considered that they have the right to take their protests to other instances.

The editor will not only reject manuscripts that raise doubts about possible misconduct, but they consider themselves ethically obliged to report suspected cases of misconduct. The journal will make every reasonable effort to ensure that the work submitted for review is rigorous and ethically appropriate.
Academic integrity and rigor
Whenever any published work is found to contain material inaccuracies, misleading or distorted statements, it must be corrected immediately.
In the event that a paper with fraudulent content is detected, it will be withdrawn as soon as it becomes known, immediately informing both readers and the indexing systems.
The following are considered unacceptable practices, and as such will be denounced: simultaneous submission of the same paper to several journals, duplicate publication or publication with irrelevant changes or paraphrasing of the same paper, or the artificial fragmentation of a paper in several journals.
Conflict of interest
CCGECON will establish the necessary mechanisms to avoid or resolve possible conflicts of interest between authors, evaluators and/or the editorial team itself.
Complaints/complaints
Any author, reader, evaluator or editor may submit complaints to the competent bodies.
