Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

The journal accepts papers in Spanish and English in the form of original scientific research articles, review articles, relevant information, technical notes, reflection articles and communications to the editor. Papers must be submitted in compliance with the rules for their elaboration and with the procedure for their submission. Only original and unpublished papers are accepted and published.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SUBMISSION OF PAPERS TO THE JOURNAL.

Adjust the work to the journal's standards.
Send the source files adjusted to the Word template for manuscripts provided.
The paper must contain figures, tables and/or photographs where appropriate.
All submissions should be sent to the following address: ccgecon@analysis.urkund.com
Send in another file in MS Word format, the following information:

(a) Title of the paper in both languages (Spanish and English).

b) Classification of the subject of the paper. Use the classification offered by UNESCO, which is an International Nomenclature for Science and Technology fields. Indicate the classification code (6 digits) and the identification of the corresponding classification. Examples: 120709 Linear Programming, 120317 Computer Science.

c) Authors' data. It should not exceed four (4) authors. The following is requested for each author: first and last names, academic degree, position held, institution where he/she works or studies, city and country of the institution, and the author's e-mail address.

Figures and/or photographs should be sent in jpg format, with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi to guarantee legibility, without colors. Each figure or photograph should be in a single file. Make sure they are legible and understandable in grayscale.

TYPES OF PAPERS RECEIVED

Original research article. A document that presents, in detail, the original results of completed research projects. It contains introduction, methodology, results and conclusions.

Reflection article. A document that presents the results of completed research from an analytical, interpretative or critical perspective of the author, on a specific topic, using original sources.

Review article. Result of a completed research where the results of published or unpublished research on a field of science or technology are analyzed, systematized and integrated, in order to report on the progress and development trends. It presents a bibliographic review of at least 30 references.

Relevant Information: Important facts, events and information of interest to the University community.

Technical Notes: Describe specific technological processes and their application.

Letters to the Editor. Information that expresses critical, analytical or interpretative positions on the documents published in the journal, which in the opinion of the Editorial Committee constitute an important contribution to the discussion of the subject by the scientific community of reference.
